We used to present payment options to customers using an old-fashioned four square and a Sharpie. Payment options were calculated manually and deals were almost never closed on first pencil.
With Reynolds Desking, we’re more efficient because salespeople are able to structure their own deals in ERA-IGNITE and bring them to the desk ready to go. The amount of times a salesperson goes back and forth between the customer and sales manager has significantly been reduced, making it easier for the customer to say yes to a deal faster. This has directly resulted in an increase in CSI for our dealership.
One of my favorite Desking features is the variety of different proposals you can use to present payment options. If a customer is paying cash, there’s a proposal for that. If a customer wants to look at options with zero, a thousand, or three thousand dollars down, there’s a proposal for that. If they want to see sixteen or seventeen payment options at once, Desking has a proposal we can present to the customer. The flexibility and ability to customize our proposals is amazing.
Having a desking tool that works with our DMS is extremely important. I strongly recommend Desking because of the features and functionality alone, but also because it’s built to work with ERA-IGNITE, allowing for a more streamlined sales process and less room for error.
