Reducing Internal Document Processing Time with a Digital Workflow
Kamir Martínez Díaz – Chief Financial Officer at Pepe Abad Auto
The Problem: Duplicate scanning, delayed closings, inconsistent documentation, and underutilized technology slowed internal document processing and created unnecessary costs.
Results: Kamir spearheaded a digital transformation that streamlined and standardized workflows across four store locations and multiple brands. This shift brought consistency, improved compliance, and eliminated redundant scanning and rework at both the F&I and accounting stages.
The results speak for themselves: a 40 percent reduction in internal document processing time, faster deal closings, and up to $50,000 in annual savings from reduced printing and storage costs. By embracing digital innovation, Kamir not only improved efficiency but also unlocked lasting value for the dealership.
Kamir’s donation went to the American Cancer Society in Puerto Rico, working to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support.

Improving Off-The-Shelf Fill Rates in the Parts Department
Chris Ponte – Parts Manager at Scranton Chevrolet
The Problem: An off-the-shelf fill rate of just 30%. Without tracking lost sales, the dealership wasn’t stocking the right parts which led to delays, inefficiencies, and missed opportunities in service.
Results: Chris introduced a new process for tracking lost sales, reviewing and entering them at the end of each day rather than requiring advisors to record them during every transaction. This simple but effective change transformed the department’s performance.
In just two months, the fill rate climbed from 30 percent to 59 percent. With the right parts on hand, the dealership is now able to complete more same-day repairs and maintenance, increasing customer satisfaction and boosting service sales.
Chris’s donation went to the Wounded Warrior Project, the nation’s leading veterans service organization, dedicated to the total well-being of post-9/11 wounded, ill, or injured veterans and their families.
