Dedicating someone in service for accessories has been a successful process change for the entire dealership. He makes the process more efficient by scheduling appointments, notifying customers when parts have been ordered, and communicating with the parts and sales departments on accessory orders.
We have seen a big lift in accessory sales making the new process well worth it. We are doing around $45,000 a month in accessory sales. I retain around 40%, so I make $18,000 in profit a month from accessory sales alone.
