The Results
When we installed docuPAD in our stores, the most difficult part was trying to get our staff to forget they needed paper. I was immediately on board with getting rid of paper and making everything electronic. I spoke with our attorneys and NCADA attorneys to make sure what documents had to have ink signatures. I got all the right answers so we could set up docuPAD to streamline our F&I processes and also push towards getting rid of paper.
docuPAD drives efficiency into our process, decreases our transit time, reduces compliance risk, and eliminates errors. We like docuPAD so much that we purchased 18 more. Now, every store had docuPAD in every F&I office.
Also, docuPAD has improved our file retrieval process. We can view, print, and email any file stored in docuPAD using Integrated Document Management. Eventually we won’t need file folders, storage boxes, or 43-foot box trucks to store documents. We will be completely paperless!
Even if docuPAD didn’t save me a nickel, which I know it has, it’s worth the investment. It has streamlined our deal jacket process, reduced compliance risk, and improved file retrieval.
