Service Portal 2.0 Privacy Policy/Terms of Service
The Reynolds and Reynolds Company (“Reynolds”) operates software platforms for automotive dealerships (the “Platform”) which connects an automotive dealership (the “Dealership”) with members of the public. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) cover your use and access to the products, services, software, platform, websites, and online scheduler (collectively, “Services”). By using our Services, you, the consumer, agree to be bound by the Terms.
By using this Platform, you (“You” inclusive of any organization or party you act for) are agreeing to the following terms of service (the “Terms”).
When providing your mobile phone number to the car dealership you are patronizing or when scheduling an appointment for service with that dealership, you agree to receive informational text messages from that dealership.
You may opt-in and register to communicate with the Dealership by SMS by clicking the “Text” or “Both” contact methods when scheduling your appointment or by sending the first SMS message to the Dealership. Standard SMS, voice, or data charges may apply. By providing your phone number in the manner described above, you expressly consent to receive text messages from the dealership or entity you are patronizing, including a “Welcome” or “Confirmation” text message from a dealership service adviser, messages related to your vehicle service, appointment reminders, service reminders, service follow-up messages, and recall notices. If at any time you (as a dealership customer) wish to opt-out or revoke consent for text messaging from the dealership, text STOP to the dealership contact number. Messages containing additional letters, words, or numbers to STOP will not be recognized as a revocation since text message communications using these services are generally between a dealership service adviser and a consumer and are thus inappropriate for automatic processing. Reynolds’ service may utilize automated processing of messages to ascertain if a consumer intends to revoke consent, but such automated processing should not be assumed, and may not be implemented for a given dealership. Only the word STOP sent by you to your dealership contact phone number will be considered an unquestioned request to revoke consent. You may opt back in at any time in the future by sending the word START to the previously used dealership contact number provided to you or calling your service adviser. If you change your mobile phone number from which you use the Services to communicate with your dealership, call or text your service adviser with your new number to continue to receive these communications. You may receive additional instructions by text message when attempting to contact a service adviser at the dealership you are patronizing if you have previously opted-out or revoked consent by following the instructions provided to you.
