Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking an experienced product manager to lead how our CRM and DMS applications reach consumers across multiple communication channels—text, email, voice, and increasingly, RCS. Each of these channels operates within complex carrier rules, vendor APIs, and compliance frameworks that determine message deliverability.
As Senior Product Manager, you will own multiple communication channel layers within our automotive software platform: unified SMS/MMS and voice with compliance, outbound email pipeline and deliverability, RCS build-out, and WhatsApp integration. You will also manage vendor relationships and integrate channel economics into product pricing and packaging.
This is an individual contributor role with broad scope and high impact: you will be the company Subject Matter Expert on communication channels and a critical driver of feature roadmap, vendor partnership, and pricing strategies.
Core Responsibilities:
- Drive SMS and MMS features within CRM and DMS applications
- Support how 10DLC brand and campaign registration, TCPA consent capture, and CTIA messaging principles are handled in the product, and set the policy our operations team executes against
- Lead the RCS build-out from evaluation through launch, including how RCS coexists with SMS fallback
- Partner with email service providers and engineering teams to optimize deliverability, throughput, IP/domain warming, and best practices
- Support WhatsApp integrations and build-outs
- Author detailed product requirements and facilitate collaborative design discussions
- Work closely with Legal on channel compliance and disclosure requirements
- Mentor and support less-experienced product managers through feedback and knowledge sharing (no direct reports)
Preferred Qualifications
- CPaaS integration experience at scale (as customer or vendor)
- RCS Business Messaging deployment
- WhatsApp Business API integration via business solution provider
- Voice/telephony product background (SIP, number porting, voice enablement on long codes)
- Exposure to GDPR and international messaging compliance
- Automotive retail tech or dealership operations familiarity (preferred, but not required)
