Reynolds and Reynolds is looking for a Senior Manager of Business Continuity & Resilience to lead and strengthen our company-wide business continuity and operational resilience program. In this role, you will establish recovery standards, oversee continuity planning and testing, and provide leadership with a clear understanding of the company’s preparedness and potential risks. You will partner with business leaders, IT Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, Information Security, and other teams to ensure critical operations can continue and recover during business disruptions. You will also lead crisis management exercises, support responses to actual disruptions, oversee a small team, and serve as the primary business continuity contact for customers and auditors.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and continuously improve the company’s business continuity and operational resilience program.
- Maintain business continuity policies, standards, procedures, and executive reporting.
- Oversee business impact analyses and help departments develop and maintain effective continuity plans.
- Establish recovery objectives and testing expectations for critical business operations and technology.
- Partner with IT Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, and Information Security to review disaster recovery and cyber-recovery capabilities.
- Review recovery test results, identify gaps, track corrective actions, and escalate significant risks when necessary.
- Lead the company’s crisis management program, including training, tabletop exercises, executive simulations, and responses to actual disruptions.
- Work with business and technology leaders to identify operational risks, dependencies, and single points of failure.
- Support customer questionnaires, audits, due diligence reviews, and other requests related to business continuity and resilience.
- Evaluate continuity risks associated with critical vendors and third-party service providers.
- Hire, develop, and manage the business continuity team while building strong partnerships across the organization.
8+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, IT resilience, technology risk, or a related field.; 3+ years of experience leading, managing, or owning a business continuity or resilience program.; Strong understanding of business impact analysis, recovery planning, recovery objectives, dependency management, and continuity testing.; Experience working with business leaders and technical teams to address risks and improve recovery capabilities.; Experience responding to actual business or technology disruptions.; Ability to present complex continuity and resilience topics to senior leadership in clear business terms.; Knowledge of relevant standards and frameworks, such as ISO 22301 and SOC 2.; Experience in a cloud-based, SaaS, or similarly complex technology environment is preferred.; Relevant certifications, such as CBCP, MBCP, CBCI, CRISC, CISM, or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, are preferred.
