My Reynolds Success Story: Sam W.

<section class="wp-block-reyrey-js-section"><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-column"><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph"><em>This is a guest post from Sam W. He describes how he got started at Reynolds and Reynolds and how he has applied his military experience to his work at the company.</em></div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">After finishing my time in the U.S. Army as an intelligence analyst, I had trouble finding employment directly related to my interests and Army experience.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">Eventually, a friend recommended I apply to work at Reynolds as a software developer. I got the job soon after, and once I finished my training and introductory work, my new career had begun.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">My experience in the Army provided me with a foundation of skills such as self-motivation, problem analysis, and timely solution implementation. I used these skills to help me excel in my role at Reynolds, and the leadership team around me soon took notice.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">They commended me on my work ethic and my knack for solving problems quickly. With their support and sharing of knowledge and personal experience, I began to flourish.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">I was eventually promoted to a more advanced group within software development, and I have since been promoted again to supervisor.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">I am thankful for my supervisors and mentors who offered me countless opportunities for career growth and advancement.
