My Reynolds and Reynolds Success Story: Jordan S.

<section class="wp-block-reyrey-js-section"><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-column"><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph"><em>This is a guest post from Jordan S., a Reynolds associate. He describes his leap-of-faith decision to leave his old job and pursue a career with Reynolds.</em></div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">Before I had ever heard of Reynolds and Reynolds, I was a government employee with great benefits and decent pay. My career prospects looked pretty good, at least on paper.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">But, I knew something was missing.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">Simply put, I didn’t feel a real sense of passion for where I was and what I was doing, and it really bothered me.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">I decided to take a leap of faith: I left my job without anything else lined up. If you’ve ever done this or considered doing this, I can say that letting go of that sense of security and having nothing concrete to fall back on can be both frightening and liberating.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">Turns out, it was the best career decision I ever made.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">Continuous prayers were answered. Reynolds had a tax analyst position open up, which matched my interests and skills, and I landed the job. I couldn’t ask for a better work environment than here at Reynolds. That sense of fulfillment I was missing in my previous position is being fulfilled here at Reynolds daily–and then some!</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">As far as the source of my success at Reynolds, it’s easy to identify: working with a great team, having great leadership, and being in an uplifting environment and culture. Work is definitely easier when you find something you’re passionate about and enjoy doing. Having a great working environment to go with it is icing on the cake.</div><div class="wp-block-reyrey-js-paragraph">Reynolds showed me that the sky truly is the limit. My experience here has made me excited to see what the future holds.</div></div></section>
