The following is information for vendors interested in joining the Reynolds Certified Interface program or for businesses considering the purchase of an interfacing product to the Reynolds DMS. This background detail should help in making your business decision to work with the people who know your Reynolds system best.
- Certification Roadmap
- The Certification roadmap gives you a high-level process flow for what’s required to become a Reynolds Certified Interface vendor.
- Standard application process during which Reynolds evaluates each vendor for acceptance into the Reynolds Certified Interface Program.
- Vendor submits an initial exploratory request for a software interface
- Vendor completes a vendor profile
- Reynolds and vendor discuss detailed integration needs
- Reynolds and vendor execute an agreement
- Reynolds and vendor begin development work
- Reynolds and vendor test both the Interface and the processes for installation and support
- The interface is made available to the market
- Vendor receives program logo and marketing rights and Reynolds includes vendor in list of Certified Vendors on Reynolds’ public website
Note: in many cases, the vendor is listed on Reynolds’ public website as pre-certified between the time the agreement is executed (step 2) and the interface is made available to the market (step 5).
- Program Benefits
- Reynolds Certified Interface that is Reynolds-tested and Reynolds-supported, avoiding the privacy, security, confidentiality, data integrity, and supportability risks associated with using an uncertified interface
- Reynolds Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as the vendor’s first-line support of the data interface
- Continued access to test systems and Reynolds support (where applicable)
- Advance notification of enhancements and changes to the interface
- "Reynolds Certified Interface Program” marketing logo rights
- Listing on the Reynolds and Reynolds public website as a Reynolds Certified Interface Program provider
- Logo Usage Guidelines
- Each vendor will receive Reynolds Certified Interface branding and communication standards. This document identifies all guidelines applicable to usage of the Reynolds Certified Interface logo as it relates to printed materials, electronic media, legal considerations and international considerations.
- Certified vendors also receive high resolution digital files of the Certified Interface logo in various file formats ready-to-use for any desired marketing or collateral needs.
- Upon successful completion of the certification process, the certified vendor will receive authorization to use the Reynolds Certified Interface logo and program name.

Marketing Guidelines
All marketing information regarding the interfaced product and press releases referencing Reynolds must be submitted to Reynolds for review and must subsequently be approved by Reynolds before the vendor publishes such information.
- Certified Vendor Participation Responsibilities
- Certified Vendors are responsible to ensure that:
- Access to data conforms to Reynolds Data Access specifications
- There is an established distribution and support channel for their application
- Vendors provide first-level support to dealers using their integrated product
- Reynolds supports the vendors with respect to the interfacing data components.
- Distribution and marketing of the interface associated with specific applications and relevant data components is performed per agreements with Reynolds.
