System Tips You Can Use
Looking for ways to follow up on declined services? You can now better record, track, and manage declined services with a recent,
no-charge addition to the ERA 9.5 release for your service department. It's called "Recommended Not Done" or RND.
|
|
The RND enhancement is found throughout the RO process in ERA. The command for RND has been added
to screens 3010, 3030, 3350, 3351, and 3361. |
|
RND will let you quickly and permanently record any customer-declined service on the repair order.
How to Use This Information
- The recommended but not done service prints on the service invoice, giving your customer a reminder to take home.
- This information is also saved in service history, giving you opportunities to follow up with the customer between visits.
- The next time you see the customer, previous RND jobs will display as recommended services. This is a great way to help you close more business.
Imagine if you were able to close 20% of the jobs declined by your customers! What would that mean for your bottom line?

With RND, the whole process is simple. It will also work well with the Service Sales Kit Report Card option, which is used to identify and recommend services found with the multi-point inspection process.
This is another example of Reynolds' continued commitment to making your business better.
