Account Services Representative
As an Account Services Rep you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries regarding their accounts. You will be the first point of contact for any customers when they call in with Accounts Receivable or Billing questions. The most important responsibility is contacting customers that are currently past due. You must be comfortable interacting with customers and you can expect to spend 60 percent of your time on the phone. The percentage of incoming calls vs. outgoing calls is about 50/50. You will help maintain spreadsheets and databases that are unique to the department. In addition to making collections calls, you will also initiate credit and check requests and make adjustments to customer accounts. Some basic clerical tasks are required and you have the opportunity to be assigned special projects to work on from leadership. An Account Services Rep will never have the same day twice!
