The Marketing Consultant (MC) will manage assigned customer accounts and up-sell additional campaigns via telephone and email. The campaigns will target either (or both) the sales and service departments of the dealership through email, direct mail, voice and text. A MC is assigned to a team of three associates to handle 40-50 dealerships. The MC will develop relationships with the dealership management team. The MC will be the primary point of contact for the customer and will have regular, sometimes daily contact. The MC will begin by forming a marketing strategy with the dealer and identifying service and sales goals. After the marketing strategy is agreed upon, the MC is responsible for executing the plan with a series of campaigns and communications. Each month the results are evaluated with the dealer/dealership management, and the marketing strategy is updated. The MC is also responsible for consultative selling, and expected to up sell the direct mail channel to dealers as appropriate.
This role will be learned via knowledge base, training from lead MC and Manager, sitting with other analysts to learn the process, and role playing.
